Thank you for clicking to read the Terms and Conditions for Sanctuary of Brigid pilgrimages. Please read them carefully and in full, as they are to what you agree when you submit your application and pay your deposit.
YOUR APPLICATION AND YOUR DEPOSIT INDICATE YOU FULLY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
After you have applied and been sent an invitation, you will be contacted by email to schedule a video/phone meeting. The purpose of this is to answer questions, share information, and to determine if the planned pilgrimage experiences match your expectations. Once the interview has taken place and both parties are amenable, you will be invoiced for the deposit, which is due within 48 hours.
Balance Due After Initial Deposit
The balance due after receipt of initial deposit can be paid in full or split evenly into monthly payments, with final payment received no later than sixty (60) days prior to the start of the pilgrimage.
Monthly Payment Invoices
You will be invoiced via email on or about the 1st of each month by Perilloux Squared LLC, the parent company of Sanctuary of Brigid. Balance due is expected no later than 25th of each month. Payment options via the invoice are Stripe or PayPal. Please note that failure to meet your payment obligation will forfeit your spot in the pilgrimage and render 100% of your previous payments non-refundable, so please reach out if you are having difficulty.
Travel Insurance and Medical/Health Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly suggested and should be booked as soon as possible after your first payment for the trip. We suggest World Nomads, Allianz, or you can check out other options on InsureMyTrip. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, pay close attention to the particular company’s policy before you purchase, as some will not cover anything related to a known illness or condition. Again, buy early – within 10 days of your deposit! – for the best price. Another option is to check the credit card(s) used to pay for your travel, they often offer certain coverages.
It is strongly suggested that you have a medical insurance policy in place that will cover any expenses incurred outside of your home country.
You understand and agree that you are 100% responsible for any physical or financial loss that may occur due to injury, illness, unavoidable circumstances or changes in itinerary, or other unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, trip cancellation due to any circumstance, and you agree to hold harmless Perilloux Squared LLC and its representative(s).
You understand and agree that you are 100% responsible for any and all financial obligation incurred as a result of any illness or injury that requires medical attention, and you agree to hold harmless Perilloux Squared LLC and its representative(s).
While our pilgrimages are typically considered “slow travel” – no rushing and free time as you wish – they do require physical and mental stamina. You agree and understand:
- Deep spiritual work can be emotionally challenging and demanding.
- Physically, you should expect that you will have to climb one to two flights of stairs to access your sleeping quarters.
- Natural sites and terrain, and most old and ancient houses and other buildings, are not readily accessible to those with mobility issues.
- We do not provide assistance with daily activities of living (bathing, eating, dressing), medication administration, or anything mobility-related (lifting, transfers, special access vehicles, etc).
- You may not be able to participate in some or all activities, or sleeping arrangements offered, if you are unable to independently access the site(s) due to a health or mobility condition.
Once you’ve secured your spot for the pilgrimage, you will be invited to a private Facebook group where information about the pilgrimage will be shared and discussed. All important information and updates will also be sent via email. You agree to keep us informed of your up-to-date contact info, including email, so we can be sure to reach you as needed. It is your responsibility to make sure we have a way to communicate with you, both prior to and during the pilgrimage.
Emergency Contact and Health Info
Prior to travel, you agree to complete in full our pilgrimage attendee form which includes emergency contact and health information. This enables us to share info with health professionals and to contact family or friends in the case of an emergency. All emergency contact and health info is kept 100% confidential.
Extra Days and Alternative Transportation
If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later than the listed pilgrimage dates, you are responsible for finding and paying for accommodations, meals, and transportation. If you choose to arrive at an airport not designated as a pick-up spot for the pilgrimage, or choose to arrive at a different day or time than is given for pick-up, you are responsible for the cost of your own airport transfers, meals, and any accommodation required as a result.
Cancellations & Refunds (READ CAREFULLY, IN FULL)
Cancellation by You: If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us as early as possible, in writing, via email. Your initial deposit is your commitment and is non-refundable under any circumstance.
Cancellation charges, in addition to your initial $500 deposit, are as follows:
120 – 90 days prior to pilgrimage start date : $500 USD
89 – 61 days prior to pilgrimage start date : $750 USD
60 – 30 days prior to pilgrimage start date : $1000 USD
Less than 30 days prior to pilgrimage start date: 100% USD of total price
Due to the cost of deposits and other prepaids, we regret we cannot be more flexible with refunds, even in the case of emergency.
In lieu of cancellation, you may find another person to take your place under the following terms:
- Your initial deposit remains non-refundable.
- Your replacement will fill out an application, meet approval via interview, pay a $500 non-refundable deposit to Perilloux Squared LLC within 48 hours of invitation to the pilgrimage, thereby indicating their agreement to Terms & Conditions.
- Any monetary exchange to recover your non-deposit trip fees are to be handled between you and your replacement, with no mediation provided by Perilloux Squared LLC in the case of disagreement.
- When both parties report that acceptable financial terms have been reached between them and all other above terms are met, the exchange will be considered complete.
Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances: If a pilgrimage is cancelled by Perilloux Squared LLC due to extreme and unforeseen circumstances in the USA and/or any pilgrimage destination, you will be refunded your amount paid within 90 days or sooner, with 15% of your total trip fee held back to compensate for non-refundable deposits and other costs encountered during planning. Cancelling international flights, rental cars, and all other costs associated with any flight, car, or other reservation made by you, will be your responsibility. A receipt for your pilgrimage refund will be provided for reimbursement from your travel insurance company for any financial loss incurred related to the pilgrimage.
Perilloux Squared LLC and its representative(s) act(s) solely as consultants for all pilgrimage. We are not responsible or liable for problems arising in flights, transportation, itinerary changes or circumstances beyond our control at any pilgrimage destination or your country of residence, nor for any loss, injury or damage to your person or property, nor for any delays in transportation.
We reserve the right to cancel the trip or any part of it, to alter the itinerary if necessary or desirable, to refuse to retain any trip member at any time, and to pass on to trip members any unexpected expenses incurred through events beyond our control.
Submission of your application and payment of the initial deposit indicate your full agreement to all above terms and conditions, and your understanding that you take full responsibility for your financial and personal choices, and your safety, while you travel.
An honest heart and the honoring of commitments are very important. In that regard, please note that using your payment method (credit card and/or PayPal) to dispute valid charges in an attempt to circumvent any part of the above Terms & Conditions will result in a vigorous and detailed response by Perilloux Squared LLC to said dispute and, whatever the outcome, you will no longer be welcome at any event, training, or class, online or in-person, hosted by Perilloux Squared LLC, Cairelle Crow, Sanctuary of Brigid, and/or E-Cauldron, or to make any purchase, as we prefer to associate only with people of trustworthy character. Please note that Perilloux Squared LLC and its representative(s) make(s) every effort to be fully transparent about all aspects of pilgrimages, including detailed communications via email. If you feel you cannot abide by these Terms & Conditions, please refrain from making an application and/or paying a deposit.
